Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any boxing experience to start?
No prior experience required. Boxing classes welcome beginners and teach proper stance, footwork, and basic combinations from day one.
Who can join the Boxing classes?
Boxing is open to adults of all skill levels. For kids interested in martial arts, our Kids Jiu-Jitsu program is a great starting point.
What should I bring to my first Boxing class?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing. Wraps and gloves are recommended once you get rolling — we can guide you on buying your own.
What should I expect in my first Boxing class?
Your first Boxing class will cover stance, guard position, and the basic jab-cross — no heavy sparring for newcomers.
Can I try a class before committing?
Absolutely — we offer a free intro class so you can experience Boxing firsthand.
Do I need to buy my own gear?
We provide basic gear for beginners. Once you’re training regularly, we’ll guide you on buying your own wraps and gloves.
How often should I train to see results?
Consistency is key. Training 1–2 times per week is ideal for steady Boxing progress on top of other training.
Are there competitions for students?
We support students who want to compete in amateur boxing or MMA striking and can point you toward the right prep.
What if I have an injury or physical limitation?
We accommodate students with injuries by offering modified drills and lower-intensity work.
How long does it take to earn a belt promotion?
Boxing does not use belts. We track your progress by technique sharpness, confidence, and control over time.
